Courtesy Cars

We have 6 Kia Picantos, which we use as customer courtesy cars, 2 of which are automatic transmission.    We also have a manual Nissan Micra and an automatic Nissan Note, so in total, we have 8 courtesy cars.  Our loan cars can be lent out to customers over 21 or under 70 years of age.  Apologies if you fall outside of these parameters.  Unfortunately our insurance company will not allow any different.  We can lend these cars to our customers when their vehicles are in our care for service or repair.   Customers are covered on our insurance.   We ask is that you put fuel in them to cover what you use.    

We charge a flat fee of £12 (Incl VAT) to borrow one of the loan cars.  We have had to introduce this charge as we are finding running and repair costs are rising steeply.

There are terms and conditions, the main ones being: there is a chargeable excess should an accident occur that needs to be put through the insurance, any speeding fines/parking fines/contraventions are down to the driver. 

When we lend our customers one of our cars, we will need to take a copy of your driving licence and we fill out and both sign a 'Loan Car Agreement' form.  This form clearly explains the terms and conditions under which the car is used.  It also provides our customer with proof that they are indeed entitled and insured to drive our car.
